As a teenager, I read everything I could get my hands on. When I stayed with my Grandmother one summer, I stumbled across a book with a burnt orange cover. Something about it seemed familiar to me. I opened it and curious, located my own name in the index. My mom owned an identical copy, I recalled seeing it in the bookcase while dusting. I would've never guessed how much time I would ultimately spend in that book as an adult....
I have a strong interest in history, and so as I am in turn raising my own family, I have began to be curious about my own generational history.
